Carpet Superstores Edmonton North has a pretty good selection of flooring to choose from in their store. Once I made a decision on what type of flooring they were quick to get it scheduled for installation. They scheduled within ten days. The installation crew of five workers installed the entire seamless floor in about six hours. The whole crew came in and worked at getting it done. There were a few things that bothered me about the installation. They never brought in all of my floorings at one time. They would go out to their trailer and get it as needed and I asked one of them why they didn't bring it all in and he said, why bring it all in if we don't need it. They installed the floor but did not install it where the cabinets were going to be placed and I was sure that I purchased enough for that to be done. I felt like they kept some of my floorings. I asked about this with one of the installation crew and was told that he didn't bid the job to install it where the cabinets would go. Another issue that I had was that when they dulled a cutting knife they just broke it off and left it on the floor with other flooring remnants that I had to clean up after they left. I thought that was dangerous to do as someone could have been cut very easily by them. Another thing I noticed was that after the installation crew left the floor came up in several spots so I called Carpet Superstores Edmonton North to let them know and received a call back from the installer who told me to just take a heat iron and heat it up and it would lay flat again and that he was to busy to come out and do it himself. Well, I don't have a heat iron so I used my wife's hairdryer which did fix that problem. What did impress with one of the installers is that he fixed the stair nosing on the landing at the top of the stairs which was not part of the job he just did it to help me out and I appreciated that. I would have given this entire job five-stars had it not been for the installation crew. I think that something should have been done by Carpet Superstores Edmonton North to rectify the missing flooring and for the buckling of flooring that I had to fix. I would recommend the store itself just not the crew that came out to do the installation which I think are just contracted through them.
