Agreeing to have this company install a new air conditioner in my unit was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. At some point after starting the process I receive an email welcoming me to the paradise plumbing “family”. Little did I know that, like many families, they are completely dysfunctional with terrible communication skills and absolutely no respect for boundaries.

It took multiple visits to complete the work, not because of the technicians who were sent, but because none of them seemed to have any instructions in regards to what I had paid for or what they were there to do.

And don’t try to call the number and ask for help, most of the people who answer the phones will quickly lose their temper with you for not knowing the bizarre ways they choose to conduct their business. Because it’s impossible to ever speak to the same person more than once you will have to repeat your situation multiple times until, I assume, they hope you get tired and give up. Once they have your money their job is done, it is inconsequential if they actually provide the service you have paid them for.

Unfortunately the only way to speak to anybody is to call. Don’t be fooled by their texting system, it’s set up to make you think you are speaking with a person but it’s just a bot. I found this out after I finally called and was confused why they didn’t have any of the information I had written in text. The woman who answers the phone told me dismissively, “oh that was just a bot”.

The receptionists will generally not care about you, and tell you somebody will be in contact with you. If you work or have a family, they don’t care. You need to be on call for them, on their schedule, to answer their calls whenever they say. But don’t worry, they won’t ever actually call you for the reasons you are expecting, they will only call you to ask you to tell them how great their services are by doing a survey.

I had used their services in the past for plumbing issues and was satisfied with the job the technicians did, which is why I foolishly agreed to allow them to install a new a/c system. Maybe this is a company that is better equipped to handle basic plumbing issues but I would not recommend them for anything more complicated than unplugging a drain.
