My daughter has been taking dance at Dance Depot for over five years. She recently tried out but wasn't chosen for the competition team. I didn't really think she was assessed properly because right before the tryouts she hadn't danced for four months. I also think that there are a lot of cliquey parents in groups. My daughter isn't used to that and a few moms can be very abrasive towards her. One mom even made her cry during a recital because she was hyper-focused on her own child. I think my daughter is being overlooked because she's not in a clique. Otherwise, Dance Depot has been a good place for her to learn dance skills.
