I have been taking my kids to Dance Depot for about a year now. They offer structure, and I like how the instructors help them learn how to follow directions while learning their dance routines. That's really what I'm there for. Also, I love how they are learning how to be a part of a team. Teamwork is an element that is important to me, and what I'm aiming for with the kiddos.

As part of the overall experience, I do think the cleanliness of the facility could use a little refreshment, and the scheduling is really tough sometimes. The overall vibe I get from some of the instructors is that they waver sometimes, and it makes it hard to tell where I need to kick in as a parent - until the last minute a lot of times - as far as what to focus and pay close attention to or give some extra help on.

From my perspective, if you are new to the whole dance mom circuit, this is a really good place to get an introduction on how to be a dance mom. This is the only dance studio experience I have had in the area, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I do really like that it is not so serious and formal that you can't learn from mistakes and feel comfortable there, and that is really important to me and my kids.
