My experience dealing with Waterford was truly saddening. A family member of mine lived there independently for a few years before requiring assisted living. Independent living waa fine. Assisted was a different story. Some staff/care takers were very genuine people, others were god awful. Sometimes if you pop in to see your family member unexpectedly you'd find staff napping in their own private room, or eating their food. Pretty disturbing. On top of it, staff members at the management level were so horrible to deal with. One particular person over stepped boundaries that could have made for a huge lawsuit (My hopes are that Corey is no longer emplyed there). Other staff members at the LPN level would call to tell you your family member is on the verge of death and terrify you and your family. You rush to get there to find out for yourseld that it was only low blood sugar because nobody made sure to help my family member to the dining room to eat. There are MANY other facilities to choose from. I would suggest ANYWHERE else but here, my suggestion is to stay far far away from Waterford.
