I have recommended him to friends and have gotten people to go there because it is hard to find trustworthy mechanics. A lot of people have had bad experiences with mechanics doing work they don't actually need. Advanced Automotive Specialist always tells me the price upfront and will explain the process of the repairs and why I need them.
