The first company we had out to hydro-jet a drain full of roots. sent a nice young guy, but I felt he lacked in both experience and communication. We felt like we were in the dark as the clock was ticking and when his best idea was to dig up the yard for $5K-$10K, I cut my losses with him and started searching for bids to dig up my yard and replace the main drain. Major Drain cut the lower end of my first quote in half without even knowing what my original quote was. Then the experienced tech decided he wanted to try to attempt the hydrojetting job again and not dig up the yard. He also said he would know within an hour if we had to dig up the yard instead of an open ended "this is gonna take awhile" response we got before. It's so nice to get an educated/expert opinion upfront and while the job is taking place. Even when the overall problem is not totally certain, just to get a ballpark idea of what to expect and it not immediately be a rush to larger project was more than appreciated. The tech (Ryan) ended up proving his hunch right that digging wasn't needed and he was done clearing the drain within a couple of hours. I trust Major Drain.
