I re-surveyed a week later and discovered what Burgess did not see.
When I pay $600 for a survey of a new-build because I cant be in the area at the right time, I dont expect a 20 minute survey that fails to pick up on useful things like the heating does not work or the scratch on the stair-step or the glass door on the shower enclosure lets water out etc, etc. I'm not a pro - but I can pick on these details in an hour a week later when I can finally get to the house. Judging by how they failed to pick up on details, I am certain they did not spend the 3 hours that my previous surveyor in Raleigh, NC spends on his surveys. Never again!
