A few years ago I was having trouble with my 300E stalling at stop signs and traffic lights but not consistently. I brought it to a big time Mercedes repair shop and they tried but failed. I heard of this place in Rock Hill, Gunter's Mercedes, and decided to give them a try. One morning I drove up and this fellow with "Junior" on his shirt came out. I described the problem and then thinking he'd say "leave it and I'll work on it" but no, he opened the hood, made an adjustment and said "give that a try". I asked "how much do I owe you?" " Nothing, bring it back if it doesn't work" was his response. I just found my Mercedes repair shop. Just this last week we purchased a prestine "86 SL from Junior. He is the most talented and honest person in the Mercedes business. I must also mention his office staff, Charlan who is the most pleasant lady and keeps Junior in line.
