On Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 I was about to leave for work when I heard a noise in our back yard. I went to investigate and found a water spigot had broken and water was gushing everywhere. I called my dad to come over and help me turn off the main water valve to the house but we were not able to shut it off. I called SAWS right away and they told me to stop trying to turn the knob in case the knob was frozen in place, it could cause more damage if it broke off. SAWS told me they would send out an emergency crew but had no idea when they would be able to arrive since there were other calls before mine; all I could focus on was the water meter spinning out of control and water gushing. I ran inside and called Aramendia Plumbing and explained my problem and less than 40 minutes later they arrived and were able to immediately shut off the main water to my home. The two men who arrived from Aramendia were so nice and professional and took care of the problem very fast! I was so grateful for their quick response and professionalism. When you are in a crisis like I was that day it is such a relief to know you can call Aramendia Plumbing and know they will take great care of you!
