Was told appointment would be from 11-1pm and would receive a phone call half an hour before, just before 1:00pm I called back because I had not heard from them, not a big deal but would have appreciated a call letting me know they were running late because I needed to leave the house.

Had just purchased and installed a brand new toilet in guest bedroom that was leaking so something wasn't done right, called HI-TECH to repair the leak because I had them marked in my phone as "plumber, the good one" from a previous experience.

The only problem was that a bolt/ring wasn't tightened enough. They wanted to charge me the entire price to rebuild the inside of the toilet 228.00 or something close to that, to tighten the bolt. The toilet itself, which was brand new only cost 150.00. So eventually after speaking with a superior, the tech got the price to 150.00.
So that was for tightening a bolt in a tough to reach place, no parts...I just feel very ripped off but I paid because I was in a pinch. The service man was very nice and only doing his job. I will not be using this company again though. If I didn't have company at my house I would have paid my 39.00 fee to come to the house, watched a couple utube videos and fixed it myself. Personally I think a reasonable price for this would have been the cost of the service call 39.00 or maybe even like 75.00 definitely not more than 100.00 for tightening a bolt. It just really made me disappointed in the system and I felt taken advantage of. I did have a good experience the last time I used this company, but then I was paying for parts, labor, and expertise. Not this time and I won't try my luck with them again.
