I had 800 sq ft of carpet cleaned (with no furniture in the room) and two stair cases. It took the two technicians 45 minutes from start to finish. I pointed out a stain I couldn't get out and told him to do his best. He mentioned he would hit it hard with cleaner and do his best on it which is all I asked. I had several stains in my finished basement and hoped for the best. When they left it did look improved until the next day when the stains were much worse. I decided to pull up the carpet because it was taking so long to dry. I wrung two full cups of water out of the pad under the stain and had to peel back the entire carpet to completely dry it for two days. There was so much solution in the pad I thought I had a leak in my basement but I didn't. I looked closer around the edges of the staircases and walls and they missed a lot of spots. Not sure what pros use near baseboards but apparently nothing. Way overpriced. Over $350 to make my carpets worse and I spend 4 days fixing their mess. Do yourself a favor and buy or rent a decent machine and do it yourself if possible. The techs were very friendly but I think they rushed through the job.
