I have not used Chem-Dry for several years but am glad I had them clean my carpets this time. I had purchased my own carpet shampooer to save money since we have a small dog and grand kids. After I cleaned the rug, the result was good and not that much work but I was surprised to see how much soap residue the Chem-Dry person pulled out of my carpet this time. I always wondered why my carpet got dirty so fast after my cleaning attempt. Now I know all the detergent attracted dirt like a giant magnet.
