Overall a good experience

I think the guy that came out overall did a good job. He called to say he would be there in 30 minutes but it took him 50; no big deal there. He was not very outgoing or overly friendly; seemed he just wanted to get to work. He did and did a good job; carpets turned out well. My only disapointment was the finished product. He vacuumed first, then did the steam cleaned process and then raked the carpets. The carpets were definitely clean but there were small lumps of dog hair all over the top of the carpet. There were even lumps of dog hair on the hallway rug which was not cleaned so can only assume he cleaned out his machine on it. I would have expected him to come back and revacuum those areas to get rid of the hair. Instead I had to. I did pay for carpet cleaning didn't I?

The negative part of animal hair is that it gets wrapped up in the fibers of the carpets. Most carpet cleaners use a wand and will not remove the hair. We use a rotary style cleaning system that is a better way of cleaning your carpet and brings the hair up to the surface. The carpets needs to be vacuumed after your carpets are dry. Because the carpets are wet we can not vacuum because any of the dirt that is on the beater bar of the vacuum would transfer back to your carpets, you or I would not want that. The good part is the hair can be removed the bad part is that we can't do it until it dries. Sorry that our tech did not explain that. In our training if they see this occurrence they are to stop and show the customer what is going on and what the steps are to take care of problem. I would recommend vacuuming at least twice a week to eliminate this problem as well.
