Melody Music Studios Horrible Experience

What a dreadful person Kathi is! She assigned me the instructor who did not show up, wasted many evening waiting for him. I had only three classes with him. We all know that changing instructors is a not good thing, so I've asked her for a refund. Kathi promised to make a refund but she actually never intended to do so. When I call her and ask about it, she just exploded over the phone, calling me a thief. Can you imagine?! Crazy lady! Beware

I normaly do my best to accommodate my customers, but would not in this case. Ms Schulhof let me know after a month that the instructor stopped coming to the lessons. I was not awa of that until she let me know, (this almost never happens with my wonderful staff of instructors), and I let her know will be happy to refund the lessons missed that she paid for, which I did. The 3 lessons in question were for the lessons she DID receive and was happy with (she had let me know in a previous email that she was happy with the instructor). I told her I would not refund her for lessons she received. I was going to offer a free trial lesson with another instructor, but after finding out she expected a refund for lessons she received, I let her know I could not assign another instructor for her. She disputed the charge, but I fought it and won with the credit card company, so that shows you she was not in the right. Also for the record, I never called Ms Schulhof a thief. I know this because I never use that kind of language for anyone, and never would. I simply let her know there's no way I'm giving her a refund for lessons she received and was happy with. She wanted a refund because she said she would have to start over with another instructor, however they still received the lessons she was asking a refund for, and was given great information the student can use with any other instructor.
