We bought a ceiling fan for our bedroom more than a year ago but procrastinated about having it installed because we were hesitant to choose an electrician. Luckily, someone on the Nextdoor website asked for recommendations for an electrician and a number of people highly recommended Ungerman. Although ours was a small job they were very responsive and were able to fit us in within a week. Dan did an excellent job of installing our ceiling fan and adding a GFI in our bathroom. In addition, when I asked him to check out a circuit breaker switch that recently had started to flip, he determined that the screw for the wire to the circuit breaker panel was loose and had been arcing, causing a very dangerous situation. He fixed that but also inspected all of the other wires and tightened the screws where necessary, thereby taking us out of harm's way. He was very respectful of our property and cleaned up all debris, etc.

Also, we have a very old, specialized switch that needs replacing and they were able to locate one and order it for us. When I said I didn't want to pay the minimum fee to have them replace it, Tom was very accommodating, saying that he would sell it to me when it came in.
