For most of my childhood up to my adult life, I have wanted to spend a large amount of time on the road, but yet and still, I had some fears about becoming a bad driver, possibly unintentionally.

I have been raised in a family where good driving practices have always been followed, and I always knew that I have good examples; however, it's one thing to see someone drive well, it's another to do so yourself.

Through the instruction of the Driving 101 team, I think it is safe to say that I will be a better driver than I could have been otherwise. The staff there have always been friendly and accommodating of my hectic schedule, and they have taken the time to reinforce key principles that are crucial to being a good driver.

I don't fully remember because it has been many years, but I believe I saw the Driving 101 sign long ago when I lived in a different part of town, and I had a desire to go there even though at the time I didn't know how that would happen.

But today, I am one class and one drive away from completing all of the program requirements, and I feel adequately prepared to enter the challenging world of the road once I get my driver's license from the state.

Thank you to the Driving 101 team for reinforcing some of the things I already knew about driving and giving me a safe and productive space to learn more about what it takes to control a vehicle on today's roads.
