Took salesperson almost 1 hour to write up my order. Paying for it was a breeze--of course! They wanted to charge me more for a 'conversion' kit AFTER both sides signed a contract. Then, they did not deliver or call, so I called 3 times and never got a call back. They said it had left Portland and would be delivered the next week--about 7 days hence. I was pretty aggressive and insisted it be delivered the next day. After being on hold for 3 minutes, they came back and said golly, gee it would be delivered the next day. After installation, the oven DID NOT WORK. Got a service call 2 weeks from when I called; they gave me a window to wait that day of 1pm-5pm, basically sitting around all afternoon. Finally the service person appeared and sure enough the flap controlling gas flow was not in the proper place for LP; he was able to fix that right away. Just to add insult to injury, they repair person said his paperwork indicated that the unit was 'builder installed'; except it wasn't, it was installed by Standard Appliance themselves!!! In summary, 1) different departments do not communicate well with each other and 2) same departments do not communicate well with customers. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and have been upset SO many times, I promise I will never buy from these people again AND I will recommend that my friends do not either.
