Not What I Expected
We purchased a mattress from Standard TV & Appliance. Come to found out, it was a RETURN to their outlet store. So, we upgraded to a different NEW mattress and were told it would be an additional $150. We saw a charge for $250 and rather than honoring their mistake, we were stuck with the bill. We were told we would get a 45 min courtesy call prior to delivery. We did not receive a call and were set up with someone else's mattress. The movers, who smelled overwhelming like smoke (and caused our home to smell like smoke for hours), set us all up and were ready to leave when we noticed that the mattress they set up was not ours. We were assured we would get a 30 min courtesy call and they would deliver our mattress by 3. No call and it arrived around 5:30.
