We went to Standard hoping to see the stove and refrigerator we had picked out that Home Depot did not have on hand. The salesman was negative about Home Depot lack of quality. We bought a stove and refrigerator and got the delivery date. Calling on the date of delivery told it was not the delivery date the delivery department had. Was called in the morning by the service connecting the gass stove: noon to 3. Then called by wharehouse and told refrigerator coming 3 to 6. They knew nothing about stove coming. Why couldn't delivery and installation be coordinated? Would not change delivery. Wednesday, stove was delivered and the side was bashed in as if had been dropped. Where is quality control? Complained to the refrigerator delivery scheduler when he called and he said they are a Big Box store and they never open up boxes as they feel the item would be damaged. The installation man unpackaged the stove at curbsite to carry it into the house. He came to my husband and said the stove is damaged, come out and see if it is acceptable because didn't want to carry it in if it wasn't. seriously, would someone want an expensive gas convection stove with the side badhed in? Installation guy took it away. Refrigerator was delivered in working condition. Now Saturday night 10:45 pm and we have yet to be contacted by Standard. No apology. No scheduling a replacement stove in pristine condition to be delivered asap. One star is too generous. Expensive products. No free delivery. No free installation. No customer service.
