Terrible Service/Installation Department
Full disclosure, I'm "mad reviewing". Had a good sales experience with the Beaverton store. Sales person was knowledgeable and didn't try to up sell us (although we went in wanting a Miele Dishwasher and ended up with a Bosch which is not working so I'm really wishing we bought the Miele!). It's the installation and service department we're having trouble with. Installation happened last Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving). Unit worked fine when service tech left our house. Then dishwasher pump wouldn't stop running. We called Standard and spoke to someone who told us to turn off the electrical circuit so the pump wouldn't burn out (Unfortunately that circuit also runs our disposal). They also said they would "take a message and get back to us". It's now Monday (5 days later) and in spite of numerous phone calls over the weekend, no-one called us back and when I finally reached someone in the service department this morning, they knew nothing about our issue and wouldn't schedule a repair person until tomorrow which means another whole day of waiting around for them to give you the THREE HOUR window, since they would not accommodate my two hour window of availability tomorrow. Mistakes happen, I understand, but this kind of response service is not acceptable. When you make a mistake you fix it. ASAP. That issue goes to the top and you do everything in your power to make concessions to your customer. NONE of that happened so now, I'm disputing the charge and going to buy a Miele dishwasher somewhere else because I'm so mad.
