Standard does not back their appliances!
I went to Standard Appliance in November 2015 to buy a used washer. After looking at their new washers and speaking with the salesperson about wanting a washer that I wouldn't have to worry about fixing for years, he recommended a new Samsung washer that I bought for 738.97.
Today I took in my work shirts to show them the horrible armpit stains and sweat stains that this horrible "washer" won't get out. I've even used Spray and Wash with no results. I've used every heavy duty cycle on this piece of junk, some cycles lasting 2 hours, and it still won't clean my clothes. The salesperson I told today stated, "We don't actually make these washer." So basically if you buy an appliance from them and it doesn't work, they don't back it. Then he said, "What would you like me to do, send a repairman to look at it? " .... A washer that's less than 1 1/2 years out?!!! Really?!!! They think I should pay to fix a washer that I paid over 700 dollars for.
