My mother is very happy with The Shores At Wesley Manor, and before my father passed away he lived there too. The quality of the facility is really, really good. The staff is great and they really make us feel comfortable with the level of care they provide. There is medical staff available at all times, and they are very skilled and responsive. We would not have been able to properly care for her given her condition, so as a family this has been really good for us. She is in the memory support unit, and they take proper care of her through each stage of aging and various issues. They have been able to meet all her needs and given our family peace of mind.
I like that it's in the same neighborhood where our family grew up, just about two blocks away. It's like visiting home when we go there. It is also very clean and secure. They have events and little trips, and are attended to sufficiently during them. The food is good quality and they are given choices about it.
We know the director very well, and some of my family members communicate with them on a daily basis. We really value how much they include us as a family in her care. They are professionals who know how to accommodate her memory issues, and I am confident she is properly checked on and cared for. I have no complaints whatsoever.
