I am very familiar with The Shores and, through the years, many friends and family members have lived there. They offer a wide range of living options that are designed for each specific stage of care the resident requires. They used to be part of a different company and, since they have changed owners, it feels more like a business now. I know there is a lot going on that I don't understand and that this change was necessary. But everything now seems nickle and dime and just I don't like it. I do like the day to day employees that care for the residents. The nurses and aides actually take their time to connect with residents and their family members as well. I especially appreciate their Social Worker, Michelle. She is extremely nice! The care my family member receives from the regular employees is good but I can not say the same about the admin. I have yet to meet the new director or owner and it's been about 2 years now. Might just be me but it still doesn't sit well.
