At the Shores, there is definitely a sense of genuine care and professionalism about how things are done. The folks that work there are on the front line to deal with all of the issues that an older person has. They're very sensitive to the nature of the issues and are empathetic, and sympathetic when appropriate. My dad, who stays there, often talks about how "everybody is so nice here" and enjoys the level of care and security they provide. I want to emphasize that the Shores has a very excellent staff! I think they are also very good at diffusing situations if he ever gets agitated. I would rate them very highly, although I have no direct comparison. I would also be sure to recommend them! For my dad's needs, they're very ideal.
