I'm a volunteer for Pitman Manor. I only get there one day a month. I am a Tuesday shopper. I think that what we do for the residents, that's a five. I think people who live there are very happy about their living conditions. I have been volunteering for 9-10 years now. What I do is I shop for the residents. We have a team that goes down and the residents make a list of what they need at the grocery store or drug store. We shop for them and bring the merchandise back and deliver it right to their door. The residents really appreciate this because some of them have no family that can shop for them. If I were going to speak to someone about moving in, I would say that from the times I'm there, everything seems to run well and the help is very kind and helpful to the residents. As far as I know, I think the food service could be improved. I would recommend Pitman Manor because it is smaller, and I think people are happier in a smaller place.
