I volunteer at Pitman Manor by hosting bingo, shopping for the residents, and doing some sewing/mending. I have befriended several of the residents, and from what I have seen visiting with them, the staff is very heartfelt, caring, and concerned for their patients. I had a friend who lived at Pitman Manor, who was passing away from throat cancer. They made sure someone was available and watching over her 24 hours a day, around the clock. If she ever needed anything they came right away, and she really loved and appreciated them. One of my other friends at Pitman said to me once, "if anyone came to live here and wasn't happy it was their own fault."
