My mother has been living at Pitman Manor for the past five years and I really like it. However, there are times where it seems there are not enough aides or attendants. My mother doesn't need on aid on a regular basis but, since her vision is declining, she's supposed to be checked morning and night, and sometimes that doesn't happen. I don't think it's because they are neglecting her, but simply because they are more focused on those who need round the clock care. Aside from that, all of the staff is very personable: they know everyone's name and make you feel really comfortable. On top of that, it doesn't smell like an institution. The prices are competitive and I'm glad we found them.
