Ryan did an exceptional job in my iron fitting. He spent time reading my notes on what I wanted to get out of my fitting, my goals, and where my current irons are performing for me and changes I’d like to see. We tried all the club heads I wanted to try and he even recommended a couple based on my numbers and what I wanted to accomplish. We also tried several shafts before finding the one that performed the best for me. He in no way tried to push high end shafts on me that I did not need nor that did not perform as well as the one we ended up with. He listened. He read the numbers, and went over them with each head and shaft and it made my choice very easy. I ended up with the Cobra Radspeed irons with Nippon 1150 GH Taper shafts. The distance and dispersion were obviously the best of all the irons I tried as well as shafts. It was easy to see with the dispersion data, ball speed, carry distance, spin rates etc...on all I tried. I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience right down to grip size and choice.
I would highly recommend Golf Champion for your fitting and as a high school golf coach I will recommend them to my players. If you go to the Plano store, schedule with Ryan. You will be glad you did.
