The only thing bruised by the shafting and clubbing session was the ego of my former clubs (and the Edwin Watts fitter who so served me so egregiously that my 5.5 index doubled in just over a year).

Oh, and my wallet.

However, when one considers how long we keep a set of well fitted clubs and amortize that cost, the up-front expenditure is pretty insignificant. Factor in the winnings from your friendly (?) Nassau’s and various side bets and .. now think about this .. your Buds are the ones actually paying for your clubs! You can keep this up for as long as you own your set because with Club Champions playability guaranty you can come in for a tune up to make sure your clubs continue to perform at their optimum. And that cost you absolutely nothing. After several rounds of creating the most beautiful divots you’ll ever see outside one of the professional tours you’ll need to do this. And, did I mention .. it’s free?! Heck, the only downside is you might have to give your Saturday foursome strokes to keep the money flowing. The only thing is, to accomplish this, to remain superior to your pigeons, you’ll have to keep quiet about how you obtained your new super power. Doing so, guarding your secret like an elected official guards his/her source of graft, will be good for your cash flow, but, in my opinion, would be a grievous disservice to Bobby Ennis and the rest of his Club Champion Golf Master Fitters, especially when you consider that his super power has transformed you from a meek and mild mannered Clark Kent into a golfing Superman.

So, do you and your game and your wallet a favor .. call and set an appointment to get shafted by Bobby Ennis.
