Tim Cahill is an excellent experienced fitter, excellent people person, listens intently to expectations and any preconceived notions or expectations a client may present with. We experimented with numerous shafts both metal and Grafite to optimize shaft performance based on the numbers, then, we moved on to different club heads like Callaway, Mizuno based on my preference including exotics like MIURA and PXG to see the effects on performance. The numbers don’t lie. I came to rule out the sound and feel of Mizuno MP20 HMB which I hit numerous times at Superstore against anything else with comparable sound, feel, performance. Turns out, based on the performance numbers, PXG 0311 SGI irons with 85 gram Grafite shaft gave me best performance compared to Callaway, Mizuno, Miura. So going with performance numbers, Sound and Feel, I settled on PXG which happens to be on sale plus military discount, can’t wait for set to arrive so I can experience sound, feel and distance superior to my preconceived expectations.
