It’s few and far between when things meet your expectations but it’s another thing entirely when they far exceed it. After going through 5 different putters over a year’s time to no avail, I decided on a putter fitting at the Orlando Club Champion, something I didn’t see the initial point of since I didn’t realize how much data could be collected when putting as compared to a Driver/Iron/Wedge fitting. My fitting was with James Swantko and from the fact that he came in on a day they were closed due to unforeseen issues on my initially scheduled day, to his enthusiastic attitude and immense knowledge it was a perfect experience. The store was a candy shop for golfers and with James having the music going and inviting me in as if it was his own house it was easily the most comfortable in an instructive/professional setting I’ve been in. The type of setting that you just feel you can perform well in as opposed to working with a stand-offish, sales-driven environment. James amazed me with my stats using my current gamer, listened to my issues and both used the technology available as well as what I had my eyes going towards to find me a beautiful fit. I’ll easily be coming back to look through the rest of my bag and when it came to purchasing, he never pressured for any advanced shaft options but encouraged that it was always something that he’d be happy to help tweak in the future if it became an issue. Couldn’t recommend him or this location more.
