My experience there was a pleasurable one. I started out hitting a few warm up shots then my 6 iron and let me tell you, they were awful to say the least. My irons were just not right for me which I already knew from playing on the course. So based on a few good shots and looking at the numbers Jim started with some low spinning heads and some heavier shafts because Jim thought with my clubhead speed, a heavier shaft would keep me in better control. My shots started to straighten up. With some feedback from me and some tweaks with different shafts we finally seen drastic improvements. My mishits were flying longer then my best shots with my current irons by 10 yds. Overall my average distance was about 18 yds longer with the new setup. From 177yds to a staggering 195yds with a 6 iron. Misses to both sides were now flying straight to a little 3 yd fade. I never had to worry about hooking the ball left. Im excited to play a round with them and reap all the benifits from this fitting. Jim was very professional, informative. I would not hesitate to get fitted as I will be going back for a driver fitting in the near future.
