LONG but Detailed!

I worked with Nick on a Full Bag fitting - which we did NOT finish partially because Nick is SO detailed and more because I was exhausted!

We started out with irons and we spent a lot of time fine tuning my shaft options so that I could play with my golf head options. This was my fault, but Nick wanted them to be "Perfect" which, in the end, we not only dialed them in to the exact place we both wanted them, but in the end Nick told me the golf heads I already owned were perfect, it was just the shaft/grip/weight configuration that needed to change. +12 yards and tight dispersion with the shot shape I wanted.

Next the wedges, where we quickly whittled them down to two heads and one shaft option - preference came into play here and I left knowing that I had the best option. The gaps and lie angles were figured out quickly and we moved on.

Driver - this was one of the major reasons I came in - I have been less than confident in my one-year old driver that was fit to me by the manufacturer. Opportunity for Nick to "up-sell" me - but he didn't. We started with my driver/shaft combo - and then played around with some newer shaft/head options - but the #'s don't lie - my current set-up was best for me. Nick tweaked the club and gave me a tip and it seemed to "fix" my confidence issue - either way the validation that this club was already the "right" club for me was worth the fitting fees!

We tried to fit my 3-wood and hybrid but my swing speed had dropped as I had probably already hit 200-300 shots - so to his credit Nick said "just come back and we will finish."

So we moved on to putter - seeing how my stroke had changed over the last 10 years since I bought my last Scotty Cameron putter, Nick played around with various weights and head types until we had zeroed in on what was working for me - not that my current putter wasn't, but now I have an option that rolls better and more consistently.

Finally, ball. More validation. Gave me two options, based upon my personal preference of more height versus more boring - depending on conditions - for my swing. Still a Pro V1x guy....

Overall - VERY impressed with the commitment to detail, and fairness. Worth the ticket just for the validation on the Driver, but worth +12 yards per iron just as much! Can't wait to get back to fine tune the 3-wood and hybrid!
