I had been fitted at Club Champion Atlanta for my irons two years ago and have been pleased by the performance of the clubs. Picked up 15 yards on my several of my irons. Was hitting my 8 iron about 140 yards now 155 plus.

This experience lead me to get fitted for a new driver today. I tried several different heads and shaft combinations. Tim was professional, helpful and patient during the process. He answered all my questions about the different characteristics and performance of the different shafts. In the end I went with the Ping G425 Max with a Fujicura Ventus Blue 50 gram stiff shaft that out performed my current Ping driver in distance by about 17 yards, lower spin rate, tighter dispersion with both improved ball speed and smash factor.

I truly feel we optimized my new driver and look forward to receiving my new driver. Bottom line this was an expensive purchase for a driver but the distance improvement is unquestionable. The plan is to make up the incremental price by winning money from my playing partners and I believe with the improvements in all driving factors the plan will work. The proof will be in the course.
