Good experience, hopefully a superior product.
We first assessed my swing with my original irons, established a base and went from there. Next up was finding the right shaft, there's almost an endless number of brand named shafts in all sizes. We were able to select 4 or 5 based on my swing stats with the original clubs and narrow it down to 1 or 2 in a relatively short amount of time. Finally moved on to the heads, this is where it can get a little more tricky they carry just about every make and model. I wasn't sure if they (Club Champion) had an incentive to push certain brands or not but I did have to direct my fitting pro to the heads I finally bought. You would assume brands like Titelist/Taylor Made would be at the top of the list but in fact I had to request to hit those particular irons. When you make your final selection Club Champion then offers you their "True Spec" processing, which guarantees your clubs are indeed what they say they are, interesting. One would think that when you order an expensive set of irons they've been through a rigorous QC process, guess not. This is where the cost comes in, approx. $65 a club for the "True Spec" procedure, better work! Nevertheless, I've ordered my clubs and can't wait to give them a try.
