I was greeted by Craig( who was an intern that will soon be working at Club Champion's facility in Denver) Craig was supervised by Roger. Craig talked to me briefly about the fitting process. Craig directed me to the area where all the clubs were made. I could view the technicians putting the clubs together from the large window adjacent to the waiting area. I did not realize that the Willowbrook facility is the hub where all of the golf clubs are made for all of the Club Champion stores throughout the country. It looked like the "Santa's Workshop" for golfers.
Craig then took me back to one of the hitting bays where my clubs were placed. It is there that I met Roger. I spent the next three hours in golf heaven. Through the use of the Trac man devise Roger/ and Craig got a baseline from my own clubs of the launch angle, spin rate, smash factor, ball and club speed. It was from there that we tried multiple driver heads, club shafts, iron heads, to get the best fit for me and my swing. The clubs we decided on average at least ten yards further without sacrificing accuracy.
Roger and Craig were most accommodating. I feel blessed to have their expertise guide me through the process of playing better golf.
