Experience was a full bag fitting and Alex at the Deerfield location was friendly, professional and extremely informative on trying to find the best fit for all my clubs. I went into the fitting focused mostly on irons. Being able to try various brands and shafts makes the fitting price worth the investment in your clubs. Alex was able to pin point the right shaft and irons for me. I’m a 7 handicap and went with a combo set P790 and P770 Taylormade. The lofts were
adjusted accordingly. Other retail golf stores said they were unable to do this combo set. Alex was also able to extend my current wedges and add grips. Some of my current clubs in the bag were able to stay. Alex gave no pressure to change seeing the numbers the clubs were producing were no better then the ones tested. Only con to the fitting was upon purchase of the iron combo set there was an optional charge for something called Puring. Not cheap. Do your research. Not much out there on this topic. It’s winter /February in Chicago, so no chance to play yet.
Maybe this weekend. Overall experience was great. Alex was a true professional and honest. He was able to diagnose my swing very quickly and I would recommend Club Champion to anyone. Especially a golfer who has never been fitted for the right clubs. Good luck and hit ‘me straight.
