Way to expensive. Required cc up front.

Nice enough people. Must have money problems. Required my CC on file before they’d make service call. Then charged my card $1400 before work was done, I had a written bid or agreed to remedy. The contractor I hired was $1200 less for a sewer line replacement, owner was very charming and met my other contractor on site. I disputed the charge with my CC company, but Lavergne Plumbing issued credit quickly. I do not recommend these folks.

Thank you Robert for your review regarding your rental property. We do require a cc on file for rental properties and other circumstances such as an owner being unable to meet our technician onsite. We had to implement this policy due to previous customers not honoring their work agreement and it helps protect our company as well as the owner too. As you personally experienced, we refunded your credit card once the original work agreement was changed. No dispute would have ever been necessary. While we understand that not everyone is comfortable with giving a credit card upfront; we stand by our policy to help ensure we do not experience past problems of owners not paying for the work that was agreed upon. We would love nothing more than to be able to perform business like past days when all you needed was a man’s word and a handshake.
