I was sold an unsatisfactory product.

I needed a new air conditioner. I told Dial One I wanted an energy efficient, higher quality model that qualified for the government and other rebates being offered. A unit was installed that was not energy star rated, bottom of the line, and was not eligible for any rebates. AND, I was charged $6000! Mr. Schilling refused to replace the unit with an air conditioner that I asked for. Dishonest!!

Unfortunately, not all reviews are honest and this is great example. Yes, this customer was clearly unhappy, but they should have directed the anger at themselves for making a buying decision not in line with the standards they later established for themselves.
This was an emergency replacement of air conditioning equipment during an exceptionally hot period. Their choices were limited due to the demand they themselves placed on us to work within their time frame. Questions about government rebates weren't asked until AFTER the job was installed. We selected the best possible equipment that was compatible with their immediate needs. Energy Star equipment was not an option based on the parameters they themselves set, although options were given for upgrading their system for more efficiency, but they chose not to take those options. The job itself was installed perfectly and we have received no complaints about the operation the system or the workmanship.
Lastly, they lied about what they were charged for this job, adding $600 to the actual charge in their review.
This is not the only place they have chosen to trash our company. They have posted reviews on other websites and lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB investigated and found no merit to their complaints. We have an A rating with the BBB. Requests asking them to remove the reviews, or at least post factual and honest reviews have gone unanswered.
From this we learned that despite our best efforts to satisfy a customer, not everyone will appreciate the effort.
Folks, please do yourself a favor and take the time to shop BEFORE you make a purchase. Reading these reviews is great start.
