I reached out to Mr. Handyman of Northeast Johnson County last year because the deck outside my home had started to settle on one side. I received the estimate but I had to save up in order to get the work done, so I wasn't able to call back until the start of summer this year. Unfortunately, I was told their bids are only good for six months, so they went back to my estimate and added ten percent to my bill. I don't think the price should've gone up that much and I wasn't too happy about that. Their workers came on two different days. On the first day, they were to dig up the area for the concrete, but said it was too wet. They went to the local hardware store, got some supplies, then came back and talked to the office. They wanted to settle up for the day but didn't do actual work. A few days later one of their guys came back and did the job by himself. He did a good job of getting my deck fixed. All in all, it was a rough start, but they did a good job of jacking up the deck, leveling it out, and putting down the concrete. I would consider their services again.
