I hired Jim Black Construction to replace my roof and gutters. This was the first time I used them. When I filed a claim with my insurance, they recommended Jim Black Construction. The people at Jim Black were very easy to reach and responded very quickly to my call. The first timely response came from a project manager to talk about what I needed. He explained how the process would work and assigned another person to call and arrange a time for an estimate. The estimator talked to me about the details of the project and he understood exactly what I wanted. They all seemed to be very good with the whole process from working with the insurance company to hiring subcontractors for the labor. The subcontractors were supervised by a Jim Black manager. They did a tremendous job. They worked from early in the morning until seven o'clock at night. On the last day, they worked until almost dark. The quality of their work was incredible. After the roof and gutters were completely installed, the check arrived. I had to deal with an office employee because it was made payable to me and Jim Black. They worked with me to get the check endorsed properly and made sure everything with the payment went smoothly. I'm generally very picky about companies doing any work like this. If they hadn't done a good job, they would have heard about it! I heartily recommend Jim Black Construction!
