Very disappointed
When my air conditioning went out, I called Quality First because I thought they were reputable and honest based on my experience 2 years ago replacing the water heater. I was told there would be a $39 trip charge. And then whatever the repair costs would be. When the technician arrived, he stated there was an additional $189 diagnostic fee, that the $39 is only for the technician to get to your door. By this time it had been over 90° for 4 days. The repair required a part that needed to be ordered. I requested to be informed on Monday what the cost would be. Tuesday afternoon I had not heard back and had to call the office for the estimate. I finally received the estimate by email Tuesday night for a Wednesday morning appointment. By this time I was unable to check around to compare (I work until midnight), or it would be another several days at least to schedule with a different company. When I did have the opportunity to compare, Quality First's pricing is 1½ and 3 times the cost of other company's. I will not use Quality First again and do not recommend them.
