Over Priced

Changed out a dual capacitor in the AC unit and charged me $272. The price of the part is only $10-$20. They were here maybe 45 minutes, and tried to sell me on other services. I hope that I didn't have to pay labor for the technician that was in training. Outrageous.

You were presented options as your unit has lacked the necessary maintenance for quite some time. You were not charged for the second Technician at all. The charges are VERY competitive in this market for this type of repair as well. It is not the 45 minutes on site but the fact the part was readily available and the many years of knowledge and experience that made the repair swift. We hope you are able to find a contractor that better suits your budget in the future!
Your unit is upwards of 25 years old and the drain pan is deteriorated beyond use. If we did not present that option we would have failed you. You also elected to pass on maintenance that this unit needs very badly.
