I called Quality First yesterday afternoon and requested help from one of your service technicians. Josh Cathcart responded to that call and arrived at my house within an hour. He asked what was the trouble, I told him there are 5 indoor water pipes located in an exterior wall of the house on second floor. With our sub zero temperature, the pipes could burst. Josh built and installed two shut off & drain valves in the basement H & C feed lines to empty the water from those 2nd floor pipes. Josh did an excellent job.
Your Service Tech, Josh Cathcart, utilized his skills to build two shut off valves w/ drain port, and installed them in the plastic distribution water lines. This is a great solution to avoid these 5 pipes from freezing in sub zero weather. Their water source can be shut off and then drain those 2nd floor pipes . When warmer temperatures arrive, I can easily restore both the hot and cold water supply to second floor facilities. I am very pleased with the work performed by Josh at my residence November 12th. It was a minus 12 degrees at 2am this morning (the 13th) here. If water had still been in those pipes, several or perhaps all of them could have broken. Thanks to Josh, none of them were at risk.
