The spring in the face plate was not working. After repalcing it and testing it, the technician found the tub line to be plugged, so he cleaned the line as well.
I was delighted to learn(from Lydia) that I could get this service done TODAY! Josh Cathcart arrived at the early end of the 3:00-5:00 service window. He quickly surmised the problem and solution. He obtained a new face plate/spring and installed it. After testing that it was working properly, he observed that the water was not draining efficiently. He tried using a plunger....to no avail. He then cleaned the tub line....lots of gunk in there. It's now working like new. Thanks to your team! PS. He gave me a free trip charge coupon for next time. Yea!
