I called Quality First Plumbing on Monday afternoon and was happy to get a Tuesday morning appointment. Steven was on time and honest about the cost of the repair (it was a bit involved, being in the wall below the sink and going down through the floor into the basement). He dove right in with both hands and completed the work just as quickly as he had estimated it would take (2 1/2 hours).

The only issue I had with the whole experience (and the reason why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars for service), was the lack of cleanup. The mess wasn't huge, but Steven basically said that if he were to clean it up, he would have to charge me for the time at the going rate of $100 an hour. When the lady from the office called, she seemed confused as to why Steven didn't clean up, but didn't explain if it was company policy or not to charge for clean-up. In my opinon, it should be included in the cost of the repair, and it wouldn't have taken him more than 5 minutes with a shop vac.
