I'm tired of being taken advantage of by service repair companies just because I am a woman. I paid $800 for a new garage door opener in December. I called a technician out because my door was not closing. At first they quoted me $89 for the service call, then lowered it to $29. When he got here, he quoted me almost $200 for the camera sensors that "sometimes just go bad". I said I wasn't paying because it was under warranty. Then he backtracked and said it was for labor which isn't included. But my warranty says parts AND labor. When I called their office, they told me they had just spoken to the technician and the sensors just needed to be adjusted but it would cost me another $89 on top of the $29. I declined. They proceeded to tell me if anyone else adjusted it, the warranty would be voided. I declined and paid the $29. Later that day, the opener just started working again. It didn't need new cameras or adjusting. I also believe they hire individual contractors to do the work and they are paid by how much they can get out of a customer. DO NOT TRUST THEM! I will also be posting this review on Yelp.
