I just have to say overall education experience was great! I went for Phlebotomy Program. I learned more than i needed and my instructors went above and beyond to help me achieve my goals. They where very attentive and available to help and tutor at anytime. Some people complain of having to take classes unrelated to the field but i in fact loved it because it gave me more experience and knoledge to pursue my career and i have put them into practice at my job. I feel even that is 10 months the program our clinical classes were very thorough. The extenship term was great more so that i got offered the position weeks before i ended. I will say it is a sacrifice and nothing and you have to work hard. Yes the program was about 14k but i assure you that you will not get the same amount of education, experience, and knowledge from a 1week program with no clinicals, sticking oranges instead of people and no externship :-) . I am proud and greatful to have joined and graduated with high honors from ATA. I guarantee everywhere you go to work you wont get unnoticed. ATA students are well known by employers and out there due to their compassion, knowledge, attention, and desore to be succesfull and make a difference in medical field. ATA students are well thought, you will never feel like just another number at hospitals, clinics, dental office, etc, you will be treated with respect, empathy, and understanding. If you are thinking in joining ATA and just needed a boost, i really hope you come across of all the awesome experience i had to share. There will be many people with negative comments but always remember unsuccesful people find excuses, succesfull people make it happen. And probably that negativity didnt bring them anywhere. Stay confident and you can do it!!!
Have a wonderful day!!!
