Loved the hands-on training!
My experience at ATA Career Education was mixed. The teachers and staff were phenomenal. They were amazing in every way and I formed close friendships with some of them. My program was urgent care and the hands-on portion was amazing. I talk to people attending other programs who study and work with simulations and I'm able to say that I worked on real people in real situations with real tools. That is a game-changer and it helped me a lot. The administration at ATA was slightly harder to deal with. I was under the impression that my loan repayment would start six months after graduation but instead, it turned out that payments started six months after classes ended. Since I just had a baby, I'm not back in the workforce yet and wasn't expecting to be paying back my loan so soon. I would recommend ATA to other people, with a caution to make sure they know the exact terms of payment ahead of time. I wouldn't want them to find themselves in the same position that I am in right now. Otherwise, I wholly recommend ATA Career Education for its great teachers and training!
